Letitia Chambers Ridges

Mrs. Letitia Chambers Ridges, 72, 3162 Adams avenue, widow of Wilford O. Ridges, died Saturday at noon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Keller, 527 Fifteenth street.

She was born June 1, 1871, in Ogden, a daughter of John G. and Maria Duffin Chambers. Her entire life had been spent in Ogden. Active in the LDS church, she had been president of the Ninth LDS ward Relief society for several years, member of the genealogical stake board at one time, member of the superintendency of the Ninth ward. In more recent years she had been an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Mr. Ridges died in 1935.

Survivors include the following sons and daughters: Eugene C., W. Owen, Lowell W., J. Harris Ridges and Mrs. Lloyd Keller, all of Ogden; Mrs. Milford A. Piggott, Sparks, Nev.; three sisters, Mrs. Henry W. Gwilliam and Mrs. Nephi Anderson, Ogden; Mrs. W.S. Wallace, Ogden, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Twenty-seventh LDS ward chapel by Harold Crompton, bishop. Friends may call a the family residence Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until time of services.
