We hope to understand not merely the Pratt family history (the names and dates of our ancestors), but the Pratt family “in” history. To help us understand and appreciate our heritage, we need to see our Pratt ancestors as real people, with struggles and triumphs of their own. We have recently found more information about Mary or Polly Pratt. She is the daughter of Jared Pratt and his first wife, Mary or Polly Carpenter, and a half sister of the five Pratt brothers..
