Mathoni W. Pratt
Mathoni W. Pratt, 80, died at his home in Los Angeles at 2:30 a.m. this morning it was learned today by relatives here. Mr. Pratt was formerly a resident of Salt Lake City for years. His death was due to causes incident to age.
The youngest son of Apostle Parley P. Pratt, he was born in Salt Lake City, July 6, 1856. His first wife, Elizabeth Sheets Pratt, died in 1918, and he later married Ada Wright Pratt.
Mr. Pratt was for years bishop of the Pratt Ward in the Teton Valley in Idaho, but returned to Salt Lake City nearly 40 years ago. The past five years he has resided in Los Angeles. He was a salesman by vocation.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada Wright Pratt and the following sons and daughters: M. Wood, Harold S., Orson S., Melvin U., Clayton C., Dorothy Pratt, and Mrs. Florence T. Evans and Mrs. Mary P. Christensen.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The services will be held in Salt Lake City.

Mathoni W. Pratt
Mathoni W. Pratt, 80, son of the late Parley P. Pratt, Apostle of the L.D.S. church, died at his home in Los Angeles, Saturday morning, of causes incident to age, according to word received by local relatives.
Born in Salt Lake City, July 6, 1856, he was a son of Parley P. and Mary Wood. Pratt He moved to the Teton basin, Idaho, in 1887, where he had engaged in ranching until 10 years ago, when he returned to Salt Lake City. In 1932, he moved to California.
Active in the L.D.S. church, he was first bishop of Pratt L.D.S. ward, named in his honor. During his residence in Salt Lake City, he was employed as a salesman for Z.C.M.I.
Mr. Pratt is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ada Wright Pratt, Los Angeles; five sons, M. Wood Pratt, Oregon; Harold B. Pratt, Star, Idaho; Orson S. Pratt, Melvin A. Pratt, Ogden, and Claron U. Pratt, Colorado; three daughters, Mrs. Florence P. Evans, Mrs. Mary P. Christensen, and Dorothy Pratt, Salt Lake City, and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements for the funeral, to be conducted in Salt Lake City, will be announced.

Mathoni W. Pratt
Funeral services for Mathoni W. Pratt, son of the late Parley P. Pratt, former member of the council of the twelve apostles of the L.D.S. church, will be conducted Wednesday at noon in the Larkin mortuary chapel by Gaskell Romney.
Melvin J. Ballard, member of the council of twelve apostles of the L.D.S. church, will speak. Invocation will be by Parker Robinson, and the benediction will be given by Eugene M. Cannon. The grave will be dedicated by Bishop C. Clarence Nelsen.
The body of Mr. Pratt arrived in Salt Lake City Monday evening with relatives after funeral services had been conducted Sunday in the Hollywood stake L.D.S. tabernacle in Los Angeles.
Burial will be in City cemetery.
