Woman Born Here in 1853 Called by Death

Phebe Sopher Holdaway died Friday evening at the family home, 1713 Second East, of heart disease. She was born May 19, 1853 in Salt Lake City, the family home then being on the site of the Vermont building. She was the daughter of the late Parley P. and Phebe Sopher Pratt and resided at Provo for a number of years. The deceased is survived by her husband, five sons, and two daughters and one brother. The body is at the Joseph William Taylor undertaking while awaiting the arrival of children from Portland. It is to be taken to Provo for burial after the funeral services here.
