Emma Dalley Pratt
Mrs. Emma Dalley Pratt, 90, 29 Redondo Ave., died Tuesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lettie Dunn, Basalt, Ida.; after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 24, 1857, at Johnson’s Fork, a daughter of James and Lettie Bertelson Dalley. She married Lehi Pratt, Jan. 30, 1877, in the St. George Temple. He died Aug. 15, 1905.
Mrs. Pratt was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served as president of Relief Society at Otto, Wyo.; Driggs, Jerome and Kimberly, Ida., and as president of the YMMIA at Driggs. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and was chaplain in Twelfth-thirteenth Ward Camp. She practiced obstetrics for 42 years and from 1898 to 1904 was said to be the only person in the Teton Basin with any medical knowledge.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Joseph Pratt, Aberdeen, Ida.; Alma and Parley P. Pratt, Pocatello; Mrs. Belinda M. Larson, Salt Lake, and Mrs. Lettie Dunn, Basalt, Ida.; 36 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; nine brothers and nine sisters, Joseph B. and Charles R. Dalley and Mrs. Lillian White, Summit; Jessie P. and Albert Dalley, Los Angeles, Sylvester S. Dalley, Kanab; Rastus and Parley Dalley, Cedar City; Robert E. Dalley, Mrs. Sarah Hewlett and Mrs. Amelia Green, Driggs, Ida.; Samuel Alfred Dalley and Mrs. Esther Winters, Otto, Wyo.; Henry Dalley, Preston, Ida.; Mrs. Ann Pratt, Inglewood, Calif.; Mrs. Ida Hewlett, Peterson; Mrs. Susie Armstrong, Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Betsy Hewley, Tetonis, Ida.

Pocatello—Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Dalley Pratt, 90, 29 Redondo Ave., Salt Lake, who died Tuesday at Basalt at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lettie Dunn, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Fourth Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Mountainview Cemetery, directed by Hall Mortuary.

Teton Pioneer, 90, Dies in Basalt Home
Basalt, Ida.—Mrs. Emma Dalley Pratt, 90, of 29 Redondo, Salt Lake City, pioneer Utah and Idaho resident who practiced obstetrics in Jackson, Wyo., and the Teton basin for 42 years, died Tuesday morning in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lettie Dunn, Basalt, following a short illness.
She was born Aug. 24, 1857, at Johnsons Fork, Utah, a daughter of James and Lettie Bertelson Dalley. She had lived in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming all her life. She was married to Lehi Pratt Jan. 30, 1877, in the temple of St. George, Utah. Her husband died Aug. 15, 1905.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having been president of Relief society at Otto, Wyo.; Driggs, Jerome and Kimberly, Ida. She was president of the Young Women’s Mutual Improvement Assn. at Driggs, and was an active member of Utah Pioneers, holding the office of chaplain in Twelfth=Thirteenth LDS ward camp in Salt Lake City.
She practiced obstetrics for 42 years and from 1898 to 1904 was said to be the only person with any medical knowledge in the Teton basin.
Mrs. Pratt is survived by three sons and two daughters, Joseph Pratt, Aberdeen; Alma and Parley P. Pratt, Pocatello; Mrs. Belinda M. Larson, Salt Lake; Mrs. Lettie Dunn, Basalt; 38 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; nine brothers and nine sisters, Joseph B. Dalley, Charles R. Dalley and Mrs. Lillian White, all of Summit, Utah; Jessie P. Dalley and Albert Dalley, Los Angeles, Cal.; Sylvester S. Dalley, Kanab, Utah; Rastus Dalley and Parley Dalley, Cedar City, Utah; Robert B.
