Ray R. Pratt

Ray R. Pratt died Wednesday in a San Francisco hospital at the age of 74.

Mr. Pratt was born in Salt Lake City on Feb. 14, 1871 and was the son of Orson and Marion Ross Pratt. Mr. Pratt’s father was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Council of the Twelve Apostles.

Survivors are a son, Capt. Ross Pratt, U.S. Army overseas; two daughters Laurie Pratt, Los Angeles and Mrs. Charles Camp, Berkeley, Calif.; six brothers and sisters, Artherus Pratt, Mrs. Alvin A. Beesley, Mrs. James S. Morgan, Mrs. William L. Shiverick, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J.L. Armstrong, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Richard Farrington, Portland, Ore.; and six grandchildren.

The funeral and burial will be conducted in San Francisco.

Ray R. Pratt died recently in a San Francisco hospital, after a lingering illness, according to word received here yesterday.

Son of the late Apostle Orson and Marion Ross Pratt, and, a veteran of the Spanish American War, he is survived by a son, Capt. Ross Pratt, U.S. Army overseas; two daughters, Laurie Pratt, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Charles Camp, of Berkeley, Calif.; six grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters. Artherus Pratt, Mrs. Alvin A. Beesley, Mrs. James S. Morgan, Mrs. William L. Shiverick, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J.L. Armstrong, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Richard Farrington, Portland, Ore.

Services and interment will be in San Francisco.

Ray R. Pratt, 74, former Salt Lake resident and son of the late Orson Pratt, formerly a member of the LDS council of twelve apostles, died Wednesday in a San Francisco hospital after a lingering illness.
