Greetings to all descendants of Jared Pratt:
We are planning to have a reunion this year. We will meet July 19th at Liberty Park, 900 South 700 East, Salt Lake City. We have reserved the Rice N.E. Bowery. We will have a registration and getting acquainted social time beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a picnic lunch for your own families and we will have an ice cream treat for all who attend.
As was voted in our last reunion, Robert J. Grow, 1st Vice President of the family, will assume the Presidency.
An election of other family officers that the family feels are necessary will be taken care of.
The offices of Family Genealogist and Historian were voted to be lifetime callings in our last Reunion.
Our Genealogist is:
Peggy S. Grow
4311 Spruce Circle
SLC, Utah 84117
(801) 227-5324
Our Historian is:
R. Steven Pratt

A report from Peggy and Steven will be presented at the Reunion. We will have an update on where we stand on getting the book on Parley P. Pratt published that Steven has been working on.
A challenge that the family has been given concerning the re-establishment and re-building of Kirtland, Ohio will be presented.
Because of a real problem with finances to conduct the reunions and inform the family in newsletters of items that they should be made aware of between reunions, I feel we should really consider raising the dues we pay so that the new Presidency can have sufficient funds to work with. Our present dues are $5.00 per family per year.
I want to express my love to all of you and will look forward to being with you again this year at our Reunion. I know we are a royal family.
Love to all,
Robert S. Pratt
President
