Since writing you on the 28th last I have received intimations from Elder James Pounting the President of the Manchester Conference (a Copy of which I inclose) that property to the value of £ 7200, Seven thousand two hundred Pounds, has been bequeathed to a person by the name of Margaret Guttery (formerly Margaret Jones of Manchester, England) now the wife of Havel Guttery residents of Utah Territory.
I forward you this information in order that you may take such steps as you may deem expedient in the matter.
The Ship “Dreadnought” with Seventeen of the Missionaries from Utah, has just arrived withe river. I am expecting a visit from these brethren this afternoon.
