This morning in the Historian’s Office the following sisters were blessed and set apart to practice medicine and surgery among the Saints: Romania Bunnell Pratt, by John Taylor; Ellis Reynolds Shipp, by George Q. Cannon; Margaret Curtis Shipp, by John Taylor; Martha Hughes Paul, by Geo. Q. Cannon. The two first named sisters were graduates of the Philadelphia college and Sister Margaret C. Shipp had been studying medicine and surgery in the Eastern States.
