O.P. Pratt, Son of S.L. Pioneer, Dies
Ortherus Phelps Pratt, who was the last living son of Orson Pratt, famous pioneer into Salt Lake Valley, died yesterday at 8:30 a.m. in his home, 226 North First West St., following a short illness. Mr. Pratt was 82 years old.
Mr. Pratt was born in Fillmore, Oct. 26, 1863. His mother was the former Juliaette Phelps. He was in the real estate business in Salt Lake, and prior to that had been a merchant in Fillmore several years. Mr. Pratt was an active member of the Seventeenth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he was a member of the Quorum of Seventies.
Mr. Pratt had been a resident of Salt Lake most of his life, with the exception of seven years spent in Portland, Ore.
He married Kitty L. Eagan in the Salt Lake Temple in 1908. She survives him.
He is also survived by three daughters: Mrs. Arthur Gates, Mrs. G.S. Northcutt and Mrs. J.L. Rasmussen, all of Salt Lake; five sisters, Mrs. Rella Farrington, Portland; Mrs. William M. Shiverick, Mrs. Ruby Beesley and Mrs. Pearl Morgan, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. Margaret Armstrong, Florida; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Final Rites Held for O.P. Pratt
Final rites for Ortherus Phelps Pratt, 82, last living son of Orson Pratt, pioneer leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, were conducted this afternoon at 124 Fourth East St.
Mr. Pratt died Sunday at his home in Salt Lake following a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted by Bishop Rulon Hinckley. Burial was in Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Pratt Eulogized At Final Rites
Ortherous Phelps Pratt, 82, 226 N. 1st West, last surviving son of Orson Pratt, LDS pioneer, was eulogized Tuesday afternoon as a man beloved of all who knew him, and as a man who was loyal to and loved his church, at funeral services conducted at 124 4th East.
Mr. Pratt, veteran Salt Lake real estate man, died at his home Sunday.
Principal speakers at the funeral services were Harold W. Langton and H.J. Jensen. Closing remarks were made by Rulon T. Hinckley.
