Mrs. Weihe, Wife of Violinist, is Dead
Mrs. Larinda Ross Weihe, for about 45 years an employee of the historian’s office of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died of diabetes today at 5:30 a.m. at the home, 518 C street. She was the wife of Willard E. Weihe, well known violinist, and the daughter of the late Elder Orson Pratt. On Dec. 15, 1855, she was born in Salt Lake. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alvin A. Beesley of this city and Mrs. James H. Douglas of Ogden, and by two brothers, Milson Pratt of Salt Lake and Ray R. Pratt of San Francisco.
The funeral service will be held in the Ensign ward chapel Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Undertaker Joseph William Taylor has charge of the funeral arrangements.

Music Feature at Funeral Of Wife of Violinist Weihe
A musical program was given in memory of Mrs. Larinda Pratt Weihe, wife of Willard E. Weihe, the violinist, at the funeral service Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Ensign ward chapel. A profusion of beautiful flowers were sent by her friends, who in hundreds gathered to honor their friend.
Mrs. Weihe was commended by the speakers for her faithfulness in all her duties and for her devotion to her Church and home. They referred to her kindness and said that she never spoke ill of any one. Those who praised her were President Anthon H. Lund, A. William Lund, Elder Joseph F. Smith, Jr., and Bishop David R. Lyon, who presided.
Elder John Wells of the Ensign stake presidency, offered the opening prayer and Willard Smith of the ward bishopric pronounced the benediction.
Chopin’s funeral march was rendered at the opening by Prof. J.J. McClellan, who played “Traumerel” at the close. “Come, Ye Disconsolate” and “I Need Thee Every Hour” were sung by a quartet consisting of Miss Shanna Tout, Miss Martha S. Jenson, David Reese and Prof A.C. Lund. Mrs. Marjorie Dodge Warner gave, “I Know That My Redeemer Liveth” and David Reese sang “Abide With Me.” A Hadyn andante was played by a string quartet composed of Alfred Press, Jerrold Beesley, Thorwald Jorgenson and Harry Wolff.
Bishop Lyon offered a dedicatory prayer at the grave in city cemetery.
