City and Neighborhood.

Salt Lake City is without a gauger for the first time in its history, and no rectifying can now be done.  Harmel Pratt was gauger up to recently, but having gone to Montana to reside, the position became and remains vacant.  The appointment to the office is made by the Internal Revenue Department at Washington, upon the recommendation of the resident Collector.
