Lehi Pratt, late of Salt Lake City but recently of the Bighorn Basin Wyo., died at 5 o’clock on Tuesday, the 15th inst., at Rexburg, Ida., and was buried at Driggs on the morning of the 17th inst., alongside of a little son and grandson, according to his own wishes. The deceased was afflicted with dropsy, and thinking that a lower altitude would be conducive to his recovery, he left his home in the Bighorn Basin for Boise City. While there he found that his health did not improve, and therefore concluded to return to his home, and left Boise with that intention. He only got as far as Rexburg, however, being unable to travel further. His brothers, Nephi and Mahonri were communicated with, both of whom reached his bedside as soon as possible after being informed of their brother’s condition, and remained with him to the last. The deceased was well known in this city, where he had many friends, who will be shocked to hear of his untimely demise.
