Theodore Presser, 1708 Philadelphia, has just published a series of new music compositions, among them one by Mr. Orson Pratt of this city, entitled “The Cavalier,” of which a note says, “This sprightly and well-written composition is so happily named that while playing it, one is not without a view of the prancing steed and its knightly rider.” It is handsomely printed and The Tribune congratulates Mr. Pratt on his work, which will deservedly prove popular. [Salt Lake Tribune, Oct. 1, 1896] [transcribed and proofread by David Grow, Aug. 2006] |
